This policy covers information collected through seed-solar.com, seedsolar.app, our landing pages, social media lead forms (TikTok, Meta, etc.), phone calls, canvassing, recruiting portals, and any third-party integrations that feed into Seed Solar’s systems.

2. Information we collect

• Personal details: name, email, phone, address, property and utility data, appointment history, and communication preferences.
• Project & service information: roof specs, incentives pursued, financing selections, maintenance tickets, photos, and design files.
• Recruiting & employment data: resumes, experience, background checks (handled via secure partners), and payout history.
• Device/usage data: IP address, browser, session metadata, cookies/pixels, and interaction logs (call recordings, SMS threads, chat transcripts).
• Partner data: referrals from roofers, finance partners, ad platforms, or public records that help us qualify or service your project.

3. How we use your information

• Qualify solar, battery, EV, and service leads; schedule site surveys, installs, and maintenance visits.
• Prepare designs, proposals, permits, rebate paperwork, financing packages, and insurance/utility submissions.
• Coordinate communication between Seed Solar project managers, subcontractors, and homeowners/builders.
• Onboard and pay sales reps, canvassers, and installers; deliver training; prevent fraud/duplicate payouts.
• Send service reminders, marketing emails/SMS (where allowed), and measure campaign performance.
• Comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

4. Legal bases & consent

Depending on your location, we rely on consent (marketing, cookies, recruiting submissions), contract (quotes, installs, financing), legal obligations (tax, utility, safety), and legitimate interest (analytics, security, product improvement). You can withdraw consent at any time by updating preferences or emailing privacy@seed-solar.com.

5. Sharing & disclosure

• Installation partners, electricians, roofers, inspectors, and utility/financing partners involved in your project.
• CRM, analytics, marketing, and communication vendors operating under data-processing agreements.
• Recruiting background-check, payroll, and benefits providers (for applicants and team members).
• Government agencies or regulators when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.
• We do not sell personal information for money. Digital advertising partners may be considered a “sale” or “share” under some state privacy laws—see Section 9 for opt-out instructions.

6. Cookies & tracking

We use cookies, pixels, and local storage to keep you signed in, personalize experiences, attribute campaigns, and protect against fraud. Manage cookies via your browser or opt-out preferences on TikTok, Meta, Google, and other ad platforms we use.

7. Data retention

Project and service records are retained for the lifecycle of your system plus the period needed for warranty, compliance, and dispute resolution. Recruiting and marketing data are retained while we have a business need or until you opt out or request deletion.

8. Security

Seed Solar uses encryption in transit and at rest, MFA for employees, role-based access controls, log monitoring, vendor due diligence, and incident response playbooks. No system is 100% secure—if you suspect unauthorized access, contact security@seed-solar.com immediately.

9. Your privacy rights

Residents of California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, and other jurisdictions may have rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. Submit requests via privacy@seed-solar.com or +1 (720) 713‑7695. We will verify your identity before fulfilling the request and will honor authorized-agent submissions as required by law.

10. Children’s privacy

Our services target adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or 16 where applicable). If we learn that we collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

11. International transfers

Seed Solar operates in the United States. If you access our services from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ.

12. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. If changes are material, we’ll post the new version with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance.
